FCRC Webinar: Using Title IV-E Tools for Tribes to Take Advantage of Opportunities Under Fostering Connections

The Fostering Connections Resource Center and the National Indian Child Welfare Association (NICWA) invite you to join us for a free webinar, designed primarily for Tribes, on two new tools that can assist Tribes in taking advantage of opportunities under the Fostering Connections Act (FCA). Terry Cross, Executive Director of NICWA, and David Simmons, Director of Government Affairs and Advocacy for NICWA, will provide information on two tools that NICWA developed with support from Casey Family Programs: (1) a Title IV-E Calculator that helps tribes develop the best available estimate of what the fiscal needs of operating a Title IV-E program will be and make an informed decision as to the feasibility given current resources and (2) a Title IV-E Decision Making Matrix that describes the key program requirements and any options or opportunities that exist to integrate tribal practices or service delivery strategies.
